Pink mansion on sale

At first look we might think that this residence is for Barbie and Ken. But the vast pale pink mansion that went on sale in Dallas, Texas, recently was actually once the home of the late, great cosmetics entrepreneur Mary Kay Ash. The 11,874sq ft property, which was built in 1984, has been put on the market at $3.3million. It is a significantly lower figure than the $5.7million price tag it failed to sell at in 2007. The home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and boasts soaring 40ft ceilings, bevelled glass windows and teak and marble floors. A central courtyard features a neo-classical-style swimming pool, while landscaped gardens fill the rest of the just-over-one-acre plot.
