Kuwaiti divers have located three gigantic whales at a 10 meters' depth in Kuwait Bay, the Environmental Voluntary Foundation (EVF) said on Thursday.
The EVF divers, while routinely surveying the territorial waters, found the three immense whales swimming 10 meters below the waters surface in the center of the bay, said the team's head, Walid Al-Fahdel, in a statement to KUNA.
The divers took photo and video pictures of the gigantic trio that appeared in good health and quite cohabitating with the bay waters, he said, urging fishermen and boaters to abstain from any harmful action against the large marine animals.
Last March, a 14-m-long dead whale washed ashore on Failaka island.
