Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Abdel Mon'em el Bana inspected on Sunday Giza's Zoo to make sure that the the fire that broke out yesterday did not affect its readiness to receive visitors from different governorates during celebrations of Eidul Fitr.
The minister underlined that the fire did not cause any losses, adding that it was away from the animals.
He further stressed that conditions in the zoo are stable.
The minister's tour included also Orman and Aquarium Grotto gardens in Giza and Zamalek respectively where he stressed the importance of providing facilitation for citizens during their visit to the parks affiliated to the Agriculture Ministry.
El Bana reiterated that ambulances were deployed in the gardens for any emergency cases.
