Egyptian, Ethiopian and Sudanese water resources ministers held on Tuesday a meeting here as part of their talks on the controversial Renaissance Dam.
The ministers tackled the outcome of the experts' meeting on the formation of a tripartite technical committee to implement studies recommended by the international body of experts, an official source said.
He added that a number of pending issues concerning this under-construction dam were discussed as well during the meeting.
"The three ministers were satisfied with the progress of negotiations, which were held in a an amicable and understanding atmosphere," the source added.
A Sudanese source, meanwhile, told MENA that the meeting was necessary to reach a compromise between Egypt and Sudan.
