Egypt and Sudan said Tuesday they are confident that Ethiopia's Renaissance talks planned for Wednesday will be friendly and featured by keenness to achieve positive results that satisfy the aspirations of peoples.
Sudan's Minister of Electricity and Water Resources Muataz Musa said that his country is sure that consensus and understanding will prevail in the meetings of the tripartite committee comprising Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia.
"Sudan is a main partner with Egypt and Ethiopia, and not just a monitor," Musa said.
For his part, Irrigation Minister Hossam Mughazy voiced hope that the seventh meeting of the committee would fulfill the aspirations of the peoples of the three countries.
