Agriculture Minister Salah el Din Helal and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi visited cultivated areas in Sinar, al Rasires and al Damazeen in the Blue Nile state, southeastern Sudan.
The ministers want to inspect projects implemented by the Sudanese-Egyptian company for construction and irrigation and the Sudanese-Egyptian Agricultural Integration Company.
The two Egyptian ministers are here to discuss ways to establish integrated relations with the aim to develop water resources and agriculture that will eventually lead to achieving economic development.
Helal and Moghazi are also set to meet with a number of Egyptian investors in Sudan to listen to their views about boosting cooperation and partnership with Khartoum.
This visit reflects strong brotherly relations between the two peoples, Helal told MENA.
Moghazi, for his part, said his Ministry is putting all its potentials in the hands of Sudan to help it with rainwater harvesting.
Egypt, he noted, is keen on achieving sustainable agricultural growth in Sudan through the Damazeen project.
