Egyptian ministry blames bad weather for butane gas crisis

The ministry of petroleum said on Saturday there are enough supplies of butane gas.
The ministry's spokesman Hamdy Abdel Aziz blamed the current crisis for bad weather which prevented ships loaded with imported gas from delivering their loads.
The shortage has deteriorated amid a severe cold weather wave that has hit the country.
There are 170,000 tons of imported gas in addition to 100,000 tons of local gas in reserves, said the spokesman.
