The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) on Friday distributed winter aid to 75 Syrian refugee families in the Jordanian city of Mafraq.
The effort is part of the UAE Show Compassion campaign and the humanitarian airlift ordered earlier this week by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to help refugees survive the powerful snowstorm Huda hitting the Levant region.
Chairman of the Board of Director of ERC, Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouie, and Deputy Head of the UAE-Jordanian Refugee Camp, Abdullah Al Mazrouie, oversaw the distribution of aid in the Jordanian city.
The ERC said its winter aid for refugees in Jordan include food supplies.
