Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Food and Agriculture Committee led by Khalid Ali Al-Ameen has met with a Canadian agricultural delegation represents Alberta Provincial Government
The visit aims to establish cooperation with the GCC market and Bahrain in particular in the area of food industry, including grains and honey and other goods.
Al-Ameen highlighted the BCCI's keenness to stimulate trade relations with Canada, mainly in food and agriculture sector. He noted the need to hold strategic partnerships with Canada, especially that the investment climates in the two countries pave the way for uplifting the volume of trade exchange under the interest of Bahrain's leadership to boost economic relations with the countries of the world.
Canadian delegation lauded the interest of Bahrain's private sector to develop food and agriculture sector to cope with the economic development taking place in Bahrain.
