Jordan's environment minister meets Chinese ambassador

Minister of Environment Taher Al Shakhshir met on Tuesday with the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Yue Xiaoyong to discuss cooperation between Jordan and China in the renewable energy field as well as investment in oil shale. The minister stressed the importance of investing in the energy field and enacting legislation regulating investment in this sector to secure new energy resources and preserve the environment.
