The 8th Arab International Conference and Exhibition on Environment Protection in Cement and Building Materials Industries will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, during the period 28th to 30th of November 2011. The three-day conference, which is organized by the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials (AUCBM) with the participation of 435 Arab and international personalities, will discuss a working paper dealing with several topics, including measures, process technologies, equipment and techniques for air pollution control by reduction of the dust and gas emissions in the process stages of quarrying and preparation, conveying and storage of raw materials, clinker and cement. On the sidelines of the conference, the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials will hold the 69th meeting of its board of directors chaired by Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer in addition to the General Federation meeting.
