Minister of Health Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi has given instruction to hold investigations into the death of a Filipina housemaid who died at Al-Sabah Hospital where she was admitted after being bitten by a wild animal.
Dr. Al-Obaidi called on the Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Dr. Mahmoud Abdulhadi to open an extensive investigation into the circumstances of the housemaid's death, the Ministry of Health said in a statement issued on Sunday.
The Ministry will take all the possible legal procedures and will deal firmly with this matter, as the Minister is extremely keen on disciplining those accountable for the death of the housemaid, it added.
