Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said that the past days witnessed important developments as Cyprus and the Arab countries agreed to hold multi-party meetings on the security and stability issues in the Middle East region at the end of 2016.
This remark came during the first meeting of members of the parliamentarian committees of the friendly countries.
In a statement distributed by the Greek Embassy here on Sunday, the minister underlined the importance of cooperation to develop economic, social and political relations with the neighboring nations.
Till now three tripartite summits between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus were held with the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Kotzias underscored, adding that there is cooperation with Jordan as some meetings took place in Amman.
Meanwhile, tripartite meetings will be organized in Lebanon and Palestine, the Greek top diplomat reiterated.
