Irrigation experts called on Monday for setting up a common market for all Nile basin states to be based in Cairo to increase the volume of trade exchange.
Speaking at the end of a conference organized by the Water Resources and Irrigation Ministry, the experts called for holding a periodical summit grouping Nile basin leaders to settle any pending problems.
The conference comes on the occasion of the World Water Day.
They said all Nile basin countries have plenty of water, human and mineral resources that enable them to attract world investments.
They lauded efforts by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to restore Egypt's role in the African continent and preserve its water rights by signing a Document of the Declaration of Principles on Renaissance Dam.
