President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday held a meeting with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, ministers of Housing, irrigation and agriculture, adviser to the defense minister for projects and the head of Armed Forces' Engineering Authority.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Yousef said the meeting dealt with progress in the implementation of national projects, especially the one-million feddans reclamation project.
The meeting dealt with the President's vision to expand the urban area by establishing new communities in the context of the one-million feddans' reclamation project, the spokesman added.
The President's vision is based on creating integrated and civilized communities.
Sisi ordered to develop an integrated concept including necessary conditions to offer reclaimed lands for investors and youths.
Sisi also reviewed a plan for the new Alamein city, overlooking Mediterranean Sea within a national plan to develop the north-west coast.
Also, the irrigation and agriculture ministers briefed the President on the outcomes of their recent visit to Sudan and the meeting of the technical committee on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
