Studies are underway on a project eyed to establish a work grains hub and a commercial city in Dameitta, the supply minister has said.
The project has been recently launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The grains hub will have investments of 15 billion EGP, said Khaled Hanafy. It will handle up to 65 million tons yearly of grains and foodstuff, he added.
Measures to set up the commercial city will kick off soon, said the minister.
A four-year time is set to accomplish the project, he noted
