Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Moati started a three-day visit to Tanzania to be followed by a visit to Kenya.
In a statement issued on Monday, Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania Yasser el Shawaf said that Abdel Moati headed to Zanzibar Island where he met with the ministers of irrigation, agriculture and trade.
Shawaf further underlined that the meetings with the three ministers focused on promoting joint cooperation.
The minister will also meet with the Tanzanian minister of water to discuss issues of common interest including development projects provided by Egypt to the African country, topped by the third phase of digging wells.
