Ministry: Work underway to finish Dabaa draft contracts
Orascom Construction and Siemens plan to build two combined cycle power plans

Spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity Ayman Hamza denied on Monday reports on setting deadlines for inking the final contracts of Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.
In remarks to MENA, Hamza said work is going in full swing to quickly finish the draft contracts of the project.
On November 19, 2015, Russia and Egypt signed an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of the Dabaa NPP, consisting of four nuclear power units, 1,200 megawatt (MW) each, on the Mediterranean Sea coast.
