Apple is planning to expand its iPhone lineup with multiple models in an effort to compete with Android-powered smartphones, a U.S. analyst says. Kay Huberty, and analyst at Morgan Stanley, says production of several new iPhones will begin during June-July to compete with Android devices which have dominated the market with a variety of form factors, screen sizes and pricing levels, TG Daily reported Wednesday. Huberty's report is in line with previous rumors that Sharp will begin producing a new LCD display for an expected iPhone 5S in June. There have also been reports Apple is considering a new low-end iPhone that would target customers who don't want to tie themselves to a long-term carrier contract and a subsidized phone but would rather purchase a phone outright. A low-end iPhone could find strong sales in China, Huberty said she believes, even at a price above $
