Motorola has announced its latest handset, the Motorola Motoluxe, will be launched in the UK, and comes with Android 2.3, a 4-inch touchscreen and a some questionable marketing morals.Putting aside Motorola's insistence that the Motoluxe is ultra-stylish (it's not) and ultra-vogue (it's not), the company is pushing the handset's rail-thin chassis (it's not) to the UK's "fashionistas".Yes, let the Motorola Motoluxe be your thinspiration, fashion model wannabes. As if air-brushing and size-zero jeans weren't enough to give you an eating disorder, the pressure to be thin is now coming from your mobile phones. Actual information nowMarketing schlock aside, the Motoluxe has got a nice-looking FWVGA edge-to-edge screen, and we're sure the 8MP camera won't be awful but the styling is still painfully Motorola. The processor is an 800MHz affair, with an SD slot able to handle up to 32GB of removable memory. There's also the MotoSwitch UI which 'learns' what apps you use and which contacts you contact most and puts them front and centre, making icons of your favourite contacts bigger and more obvious - the modern adulterer's nightmare. The Motorola Motoluxe release date is scheduled for the end of February, so we're expecting to see it strut its patronising stuff at MWC 2012 - stay tuned for a hands on.
