A sharp drop in temperatures is expected on Thursday and the weather will be cold and cloudy with heavy rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and hail at times.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk changing to southwesterly.
On Friday, the weather will be fair across the Kingdom with low clouds in the northern and central regions.
At night, it will be cold in most areas of the country and partly cold in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with southwesterly light to moderate winds.
The JMD warned of flash floods in most regions including Aqaba and of low visibility in the hilly areas due to fog.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 16 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees.
