Dust storms and strong winds hit the cities and villages in Sharqiya Monday.
The vision level went below five meters especially on the desert roads.
The streets are free from pedestrians and the commercial activity is totally paralyzed.
Sharqiya Governor Khaled Mohamed Saeed decided to form working teams to lift the waste of the storm from the streets and to face any emergency.
Also, bad weather hit Qalubiya governorate.
The wind caused a power cut in some villages and commercial activity came to almost a standstill.
Qalubiya Governor Reda Farahat ordered officials to remain on high alert to face any emergencies.
Also, a dust storm hit North Sinai along with wind carrying dust and sand especially on the highways.
The electricity was cut in a number of areas in the governorate because of the storm.
