The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) and the University of Sharjah (UoS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint cooperation in meteorology and seismology.
Inked by Dr. Abdullah Al Mandoos, Executive Director of the NCMS, and Professor Hamid AlNaimiy, Chancellor of UoS, the MoU will also see the two partners work together in areas of Research and development (R&D), education and training.
Under the agreement, the UoS will provide the NCMS with findings of its applied researches and studies on meteorology and seismology in return for weather and earthquake data.
