Mercury is likely to fall significantly from Sunday night across the country as colder northwesterly winds have started blowing from across the sea. The national weather bureau said that the weather will be partly cloudy in general on Monday with strong winds gushing through the emirates. Their speed could go as high as 65 kilometres per hour in some areas at times. Strong winds and flying dust and sand will reduce visibility in the internal areas of the country. The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has warned people to drive carefully on highways and low visibility areas. Boating and joyriding in the sea is also dangerous as it is stormy with several meters high waves. Temperatures are likely to be 10 to 35 degrees Celsius across the country.
