It's time to brace for the blistering heat. Temperatures in the UAE are likely to touch 48 degrees Celsius this month, according to a meteorologist. Wednesday saw the mercury touching 45 degrees Celsius in the internal areas of the UAE, with forecasters saying the last couple of days were the hottest of the season, reported Gulf News. Some parts of the country like Swiehan, Al Khazna, Al Wathbah, Al Faqqa, Al Ain, Seih Al Salem and Umm Al Zimul, are already experiencing the severe heat. Meanwhile, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the weather will continue to be fair in general with hot and hazy conditions during the daytime. Similar conditions are likely to continue for the next two to three days across the country.
