A Rare white deer has been spotted in Brisbane, Australia.
Resident Shiona Allinson told News Corp that said she saw the white stag at Pinjarra Hills and took to Facebook to warn motorists to be on the lookout for the animal.
"He (the deer) is lovely to look at but they carry paralysis ticks which are deadly to our pets," Allinson wrote.
Glen Alchin from Pest Animal Management Queensland said he had seen hundreds of deers in Brisbane in the last 10 years, but only five or six white ones.
"A lot of people are quite protective of them because they're that little bit more unique," he said.
In the past, white deers have played a prominent role in many cultures mythology, however, scientifically white deers suffer from a condition known as leucism, which causes the deer's hair and skin to lose its natural color and turn white.
