The 2009 DBS Black Edition was such a success, it was no surprise to find Aston showing off a new version at Frankfurt, this time coated in Flame Orange, one of two new colours, and loads of carbon fibre body trim. It’s called the DBS Carbon Edition. The boys at Gaydon clearly didn’t spend as much time on its name as they did on actually building the supercar. Also available in Ceramic Grey, it took 25 hours to hand-polish and create the glass-like finish we see here. We’d hate to be the poor chap with the rag but we bet he has forearms like Popeye. Sitting on 10-spoke gloss-black diamond-turned alloys with either red, orange, yellow or grey callipers, the DBS Carbon Edition also boasts a black grille, carbon fibre side view mirrors and smoked taillights which round of the sinister package, rather, umm sinisterly. As for the cockpit, it gains black and Maranello orange leather seats which take 70-hours to hand-stitch. You get more carbon fibre trim on the dashboard and a special-edition plaque in the door sills.
