Honda Motor will shortly replace faulty window master switches in certain CR-V and City models in the UAE through its local dealership free of cost. The Japanese automaker confirmed that 1,555 City cars sold between 2006 to 2008 and 1,146 2006 model CR-Vs would be provided necessary replacements, a senior official confirmed. "The windows master switch got stuck sometimes and the changing to the new ones is not such a complex process," said Arijit Basu, general manager for sales at Honda Middle East. "Our UAE dealership, Al Futtaim - Honda, has the required details of these vehicle owners and will be intimating them about the process."The change to the new master switch will be done free of cost to the vehicle owner. It will be sorted out quickly," Basu assured. In the last 30 days, Honda's global operations have been hit by recall announcements, which included models sold in the US and China. From / Gulf News
