Launched in the Middle East six months ago, the all-new luxury sedan Lincoln MKZ from Ford Motor Company has been receiving industry recognitions, a top official said.
“We are pleased with the recent recognitions that the MKZ has received and encouraged by the fact that its attributes are resonating with our customers as we continue to reinvent the Lincoln brand by providing the highest level of quality, design and personal service,” added Kalyana Sivagnanam, director of Ford Mena.
One of the early recognitions it received was being named as 2013’s best compact premium vehicle in the JD Power and Associates Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. The award reflected the high marks owners gave the vehicle for exterior styling, intuitive technology, seat comfort and storage.
Recently, USAA, a leading financial services provider to the US military community and their families, added the 2014 Lincoln MKZ to its fourth-annual Best Value vehicles list, which identifies the top 2014 vehicles in their respective categories based on the proprietary USAA Preferred vehicle rating system.
The 2014 Lincoln MKZ is the top vehicle in the Midsize Luxury category, recognized for offering fuel efficiency and superior safety, said Sivagnanam.
Best Value automobiles offer the best financial value of all vehicles USAA evaluates as part of a broader rating system called USAA Preferred, which uses quantitative data to evaluate vehicles’ safety, reliability and affordability, among other key factors.
A total of 24 vehicles are currently designated as USAA Preferred vehicles, and the Best Value list represents the top-rated vehicles in each category.
The Lincoln MKZ added another recognition to its name as it earned high scores as best-in class winner for Luxury Mid-Size Car in AutoPacific’s 18th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards – which identify owner satisfaction using 50 attributes that range from interior comfort to fuel economy.
AutoPacific is a leading authority on automotive research and insight. The VSA are based on the results of responses from over 92,000 new-vehicle owners. The full awards survey results are available on the AutoPacific website. – TradeArabia News Service
