The Audi R8 is one of the most customized supercars on the planet and true to form, another aftermarket company has taken the German car and given a pretty distinctive styling kit. The body kit is called ’Toxique,’ and features full carbon fiber panels.According to the German tuning company, the Toxique body kit comes with a new front bumper with enormous air intakes, flared wheel arches, new side skirts, mirror caps, a rear bumper with large vents, a rear diffuser, and an optional large rear wing. Other modifications done on the R8’s exterior include the fitting of a new adjustable suspension system from H&R, a new stainless exhaust, and a new set of 20" wheels. Then there’s the interior, which has been fitted with its own share of carbon fiber enhancements on the seats, dashboard, center console, door panels, side sills, and, of course, the steering wheel. The whole program is currently being offered at a price of €16,800, which is around $22,660 based on current exchange rates. If that’s a little out of your price range, TC Concepts is offering a similar program, one built on a combination of carbon and fiber glass, for "just" €9,800 ($13,200).One thing we realized about TC Concepts’ ’Toxique’ body kit is that nothing about it is subtle. For our part, we’d prefer something a little less audacious, although we’re confident that a lot of people will have different opinions on the matter.
