Luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar recently completed a performance challenge for its F-TYPE in the Middle East - a trip to Jebel Jais in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah. Jaguar let loose its most dynamically capable, performance-focused, two-seater sports car on the adrenaline fuelled, hairpin bends of one of the most challenging roads. As the first official automotive manufacturer to have the honour of officially driving on the new extended Jebel Jais mountain road, Jaguar chose its best performance model for the job - the Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible V6S. In an exciting twist, the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé R, which is about to go on sale in the region, also makes an appearance in a film shot on the event. Speaking about the experience, Salman Sultan, PR, social media & events manager for Jaguar Land Rover Mena said: “Our sincere appreciation to the government officials and police of Ras Al Khaimah who helped make this possible. We appreciate their continued support for our endeavours and look forward to working with them again in the near future.” He continued: “This has personally been an amazing experience; to see our all-aluminium, performance sports car go the pace in what is regionally regarded as one of the most challenging mountain roads to drive, has been a rewarding experiment to say the least.” The front-engined, rear-wheel drive Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible V6S delivered pure dynamic driving performance as it scoured the 20km Source: TradeArabia
