The new Jaguar XE line-up was launched in Bahrain at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, Hotel and Spa.
The Jaguar XE R-Sport and XE Prestige Low were unveiled at the event, which was followed by a ghabga held at the hotel’s Glow Ramadan Lounge by Jaguar Land Rover, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
It was hosted by Euro Motors, the exclusive dealer of Jaguar and Land Rover in Bahrain, and attended by company officials, customers, media representatives and guests.
“We expect the Jaguar XE will redefine the saloon car segment and we are extremely proud to be revealing it to you here in Bahrain,” said Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover managing director Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani.
The model line-up is headlined by the XE S which has a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine and 340PS/450Nm of torque enabling acceleration from 0-100kmh in 5.1 seconds.
The Jaguar XE Pure, XE Prestige, XE R-Sport, XE Portfolio and XE S will be available at the Euro Motors showroom in Sitra with prices starting at BD17,990 ($47,368).
