Rumours emerged today about new Pagani Zonda 760 Editions following the recent Pagani Zonda 760 RS. One of the rumours that emerged, after a visit of Evo Magazine’s Harry Metcalfe to Pagani HQ, suggests that a Pagani Zonda 760 LH Edition has been ordered by former Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Horacio Pagani has made it clear in previous interviews that if the demand for continued production of the Zonda still exists then Pagani will produce bespoke models. We’re told that a further two Zonda 760 models are planned for the immediate future with number 2, Lewis’ car, and number 3 both coming with a manual transmission. Lewis has apparently been quoted as saying, “my company car has a paddle-change gearbox, so when I drive for fun, I want a manual”. The original ‘one of one’ Pagani Zonda 760 RS was recently delivered to a Chilean owner. It features a 760hp engine, some 90hp more than the Zonda Cinque and 20hp more than the Zonda R. Instead of lifting the engine from the Zonda R, insiders say that it uses a Zonda F as the basis with a range of enhancements, most likely lifted in part from the Zonda R. This means that it has been extensively tested to ensure it is capable of such power outputs. Sources say that the engine will remain the same for Lewis Hamilton’s car. But only time will tell!
