In order to keep things fresh, the Ford Fiesta is already due for a facelift. It seems just like yesterday that the Ford Fiesta made its debut. In an effort to keep the hot-selling model fresh due to a growing list of competitors, Ford is already preparing a facelift featuring new LED daytime driving lights, updated bumpers and a reshaped engine hood.Under that hood we can now find, among other options, the new 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, first shown in the small MPV B-Max. It delivers only around 80hp, but for city driving, that's more than adequate. It will supposedly return an average of 47 mpg on the European cycle. As expected, the 1.0-liter will not be making its way stateside for now, but with gas prices continuing to increase, we wouldn't be totally shocked to see Ford change their minds regarding this.No exact date has been given as to when the facelift will debut, but we're guessing it'll be on sale sometime next year.
