A design study of the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer will be unveiled at Geneva, aiming to compete with the Passat Alltrack and A4 allroad. First details and images of Irmscher's Opel Insignia St Cross4 design study have been released ahead of the car's debut in Geneva. As Opel's tuning arm, Irmscher has either been sanctioned to create an aftersales upgrade package or something that could be launched as a factory trim package for the ST Cross4.Either way the car will compete with the likes of Audi's A4 allroad and VW's Passat alltrack cross variants. The Cross4 package is made up of a contrasting grey body kit with faux front and rear skid plates on the bumper fascias, side skirts, and wheel opening moldings.Other highlights include a honeycomb grille, headlight eyebrow covers, integrated roof spoiler and quad-tipped stainless-steel muffler.20-inch light alloys named Turbo Star and Silver Star Silver Evo are also part of the package, as are 30mm body lowering springs and a four-piston sports braking system.
