Journalists on Friday continued converging on the premises of the press syndicate to register their names in the general assembly to hold the midterm elections of the syndicate's chief and six board seats. As many as 1,300 journalists have registered their names in the lists of the assembly so far. The quorum should reach 1,513 journalists. Legal advisor of the syndicate Sayyed Abu-Zeid said that in case of a quorum incompletion for the convocation of the syndicate's general assembly to hold the vote for a chairman and board members, there will be a second and a third call for completing the quorum.
