The Arab Journalists Federation has declared solidarity with the Yemeni Syndicate of Journalists and strongly condemned all forms of violations and threats by dark and evil forces in their country.
A statement released by the federation on Monday called on all international human rights organizations to denounce such suppressive practices against Yemeni journalists.
The Yemeni press has been subject to serious violations and attacks which aim at wiping out achievements reached as regards freedom of the press over the past 20 years, the statement said.
The statement referred to the handing of posters of names and images of journalists accused of treachery by unidentified entities.
