Bahrain Culture and Antiquities Authority (BCAA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa has today met Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi and discussed joint cooperation and planned projects.
The meeting came within the framework of coordination and cooperation between different government departments and sectors to promote cultural and media activities and conserve the national memory. The meeting focused on the BCAA cultural line-up marking the event-packed "Our Year of Heritage 2015", being held under the theme "Heritage Enriches".
The minister hailed BCCA-led efforts to upgrade the cultural infrastructure, encourage invest-in-culture projects and promote Bahrain in the region and the world. He was also updated on BCAA upcoming events, particularly the 10th edition of the Spring of Culture Festival, which will be held under the slogan "Ten Bright Years".
(BCAA) President stressed the importance of mustering the efforts of all national institutions so as to serve the objectives set by the Government, stressing the crucial role of media as a platform to serve culture, reach out to the public and ensure efficient interaction.
