Egypt denounced the killing of the second Japanese hostage Kenji Goto by the Islamic State militants (ISIL) and stressed necessity of intervention by the international community and clamp down on "such terrorist organizations." Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bader Abdul-Ati said in press remarks on Sunday that Egypt totally condemns the barbaric crime committed by "the ISIL terrorist organization of killing the Japanese hostage, an act that contradicts with the teachings of Islam." Abdul-Ati expressed his country's solidarity with Japan, offering its condolences to the victim's family, Japanese government and people.
