The Egyptian Culture Center in Nouakchott started on Monday a training course for young Mauritanian journalists.
As many as 40 Mauritanian journalists are taking part in the course, which is held under the rubric "Image in media between accelerated pace of events and professional challenges."
During the opening of the course, Ashraf el Azazi, the director of the center, stressed Egypt's keenness to support the Mauritanian media professionals.
He asserted the center's readiness to provide all forms of support for the Mauritanian journalists through holding training courses and seminars.
