The agreement was made in a meeting between visiting Head of the Journalism Affairs department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Jafar Mohammadzadeh and Deputy Head of China International Radio department for Media and Middle East Affairs Ma Bu kuai in Beijing. The Chinese official appreciated the supports and attentions by Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to the Persian service of China International Radio. He also urged the Iranian side to share its media experiences with China International Radio in promoting performance of youth workforce and cultural exchange, calling for enhanced mutual media ties in all arenas. Mohammadzadeh, for his part, noted that both Iran and China enjoyed ancient and rich civilizations, adding such commonalities have an effective role in cultural relations. He also expressed hope that interactions between Iranian and Chinese journalists could be expanded as much as possible.
