Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah met here Tuesday with General Supervisor of I'elamy (media personnel) academy Dr. Fawaz Al-Ajmi, Director of the academy Thamer Al-Saleem, and General Coordinator Hamad Al-Abdeli.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij lauded the academy's mission in cultivating media talents, affirming that KUNA is willing to extend its hand in cooperation.
On their part, the academy's officials stressed that it was important to receive guidance from well-established media entities such KUNA, noting that the meeting today was in line with the academy's ongoing mission to serve media personnel.
The I'elamy academy targets Kuwaiti youth between the age of 18-34 and usually holds week-long media and journalism seminars. Its recent seminar began on March 22 and will continue till the 30th of this month.
