The Executive Director of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Program Production Institution Abdulmohsen Al-Bannai said on Sunday that Kuwait played a great role in enriching and supporting the media work of the institution over the last 35 years, besides hosting the headquarters of this institution. He added in press remarks that the Kuwaiti role was in line with recommendations of the ministers of information, who head the Board of Directors of this media institution. He hailed the initiative of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah in supporting the press conference to be held next Tuesday in Marina Hotel, celebrating the 35th anniversary of founding the institution, besides launching its new strategy and new production projects. He also hailed the effort exerted by the previous directors at the institution. The GCC Joint Program Production Institution's Board of Directors includes undersecretaries at the ministries of information and culture of GCC countries. The conference would be attended by media figures and a delegation representing the GCC Secretariat.
