Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah met on Tuesday with Yemeni Culture Minister Dr. Abdallah Awabil Manthuq and discussed ways of boosting media and cultural relations between the two countries. During the meeting, Sheikh Salman affirmed depth of historical relations between Kuwaiti-Yemeni people, and his keenness in activating medial and cultural programs among media agencies of both countries, in which would achieve communication and development in media, culture, and literature fields, wishing stability and prosperity for Yemen and its people. On his part, the Yemeni minister lauded depth of bilateral relations and Kuwait's supportive stance for stability and peace in his country, as well as Kuwaiti pioneering cultural projects in Yemen such as the Culture House in Sanaa, Kuwait National Library in Eden, and Jamil Ghanem Institute in Eden. The meeting was attended by Yemeni Deputy Minister of Culture Huda Ablan and Dr. Mohammad Saleh Al-Berri, Charge d'Affaires at Yemeni Embassy in Kuwait. The Yemeni minister is currently visiting the country, along with an accompanying delegation, to attend Al-Arabi Magazine's 12th Forum.
