Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Humoud Al-Sabah stressed, on Sunday, the importance of imposing safety conditions on the widely-practiced car and motorcycle racing games.
Sheikh Salman made this remark after meeting Head of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and First Deputy of the International Motorcycling Federation (The Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme - FIM) Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Atiyya.
The Kuwaiti Minister lauded the Federation's efforts in encouraging the youth to practice these games in protected and controlled environment.
On his part, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour emphasized the importance of building cooperations between his authority and the federation to better serve the youth community in engaging in their favorite sports.
During the meeting, Al-Atiyya gave a briefing of the frameworks and the activities of the federation.
