Kuwaiti media has witnessed a huge leap during the era of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said Minister of Information and Minister State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah here Sunday. On the seventh anniversary of His Highness the Amir's constitutional swear-in, Sheikh Salman said in a statement to KUNA that Kuwaiti media outlets flourished during the reign of His Highness the Amir and such a fact was evident through the launching of several new dailies as well as the establishment of various satellite channels. He affirmed that the Ministry would continue on the road of development as envisioned by the Kuwaiti leadership. Meanwhile, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Information Sheikh Fahad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said that preparations to celebrate the swear-in anniversary were completed, adding that as of January 29th till the 31st, Kuwait television channels would be broadcasting the celebrations in throughout the country. He also indicated that the Ministry was prepared for National Day and Liberation anniversary celebrations to be held in the upcoming month of February.
