Secretary General of the National Dialogue Conference Ahmed Mubarak called on various media and journalists to initialize appropriate climate for convening the Conference. In a press conference held in Sana’a on Thursday, Mubarak underlined the great role of the media in finding an appropriate base for launching the national dialogue, which will discuss all issues and topics to create solutions and treatments satisfying all Yemeni people. Mubarak considered holding the national dialogue conference the only way for Yemen to address all issues and files, calling on all parties to take full responsibility for the success of the national dialogue. He pointed out that the media is a main partner of the General Secretariat in succeeding the national dialogue conference, confirming the keenness to find a media charter of honor for employing the information in the service of the nation and its unity, security and stability. The Secretary General of the national dialogue conference reviewed the general goals and policies for the media for national dialogue in order to ensure the creation of a partnership between all in the dialogue process. He touched on the pre-phase of the national dialogue and the initialization and definition of the conference and its values ,culture, objectives and desired results. Mubarak pointed to the topics that will be addressed by the dialogue conference, including the South issue and the issue of Saada and other issues of national dimension, as well as the national reconciliation ,transitional justice ,state-building, good governance and the building foundations of army and security forces.
