The Omani-Kuwaiti forum kicked off Sunday under patronage of Omani Minister of Information Abdulmunim Al-Hasani in cooperation with the Oman Journalists Association.
During his opening speech, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Oman Fahad Al-Mutairi expressed his happiness to participate in the event. Al-Mutairi praised the efforts of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Sultan Qaboos bin Said to safeguard their countries' stability.
The Ambassador also noted benefits of using modern technology including social networks and information technologies in developing different sectors in both Kuwait and Oman.
The forum's aim is to strengthen bilateral relations on all levels and create further cooperation between the two countries. The event will discuss challenges facing the GCC countries, the recent development in media and means of developing economy in the GGC states.
