He said King Abdullah Center for Dialogue among followers of religions and cultures will be a forum for representatives of major religions of the world, religious and civilizational foundations, religious experts and will cooperate with religious and cultural dialogue organizations. He said the world of today, which goes misunderstanding each other, is in dire need to such mediatory platform where they come together, listen to each other and discuss everything. At least, they will discover the commons among themselves, he added. For his part, the Austrian minister lauded the efforts exerted by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his pioneering role at the international arena in support of dialogue among followers of religions and cultures. He said Vienne is greatly honored to host this giant entity. He confirmed that the center will not be confined to the followers of a certain religion, but open for all as is the idea of its inventor. He said the establishment of the center is one step toward the noble goals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide service for all humanity, reject differences, narrow the gap between view points of others and enhance reconciliation. For her part the Foreign Minister of Spain said the center is a fruit of strenuous efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with coordination with Spain since 2008, considering the establishment of this foundation matches with Spain's foreign policy. She said the center is an invaluable opportunity for all segments of the spiritual, religious and cultural society to enhance rapprochement among themselves taking into consideration that no alternative to an open dialogue among civilizations. She vowed that the 21st century is the time for religious and spiritual dialogue.
