The State of Qatar has today strongly condemned the killing of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto who was held hostage by the terrorist Daesh group. In statement today, the Foreign Ministry expressed full solidarity with the Government and people of Japan in condemning the ruthless crime.
Qatar reiterated its steadfast stance renouncing violence in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its sources or motives, denouncing the crime which contravenes all ethical and human values and principles. In the statement, Qatar extended condolences to the friendly Government of Japan and the families of the two victims who were executed ruthlessly.
